Clubfitting/Clubmaking/Repair Courses

GCCS specialises in one-to-one training of individuals in custom club fitting, club assembly and club repairs/alterations. 7 years of courses has seen some 80 students pass through the workshop – some have established their own businesses whilst others simply make clubs for themselves.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS – a handicap of 12 or better is normally required. Experience has shown that golfers with higher handicaps lack sufficient knowledge of the golf swing to become effective at clubfitting.

CLUBFITTING (1 day) - you will be taken step-by-step through the clubfitting process which will fully equip you to custom club fit as described on the "Clubfitting Sylabus" page.

CLUB REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS AND ASSEMBLY (1 day) - full details of the course content are listed on the Clubfitting Syllabus page

On completion of each course students receive a Course Completion Certificate.

HOW TO APPLY – “one to one” courses have been found to be the most popular but courses can be tailored for up to 2 persons, if required. Dates can be arranged to suit.

COURSE FEES - £350 for a two day “one-to-one” course. £185 for a 1-day course, if you only wish to cover one of the subjects. A deposit of £50 (all major credit cards are accepted) will be requested to reserve your course. Students will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements. The costs of accommodation are not included in the course fees but we will be happy to reserve accommodation for you at The Old Farmhouse at a preferential rate.
